Day 4

Scuol to Livignio in Italy today. We started off with a great climb along a river up to Pass de Costinas at 2200 meters which was then followed by some amazing descending by Sinon with me having to hang on his wheel the whole way down. After that most of the day morphs into one but it was followed with some steeper climbs and some amazing trails as we approached Livigno. The lakes around Liigno are amazing nd by the time we reached the town we had seen evry one of them!! Instead of allowing us to go straight into the town we had to do a loop of the place which took us about 200 metres above the place before some hairy descents to the finish line. Great day, both going well but tired. 5 hours 30 mins today, 13.3km per hour average, 167th place today, 184th overall. Correct me if i'm wrong as this is being written in a haze of tiredness!!

Anyone got sudocream for Simon????

keep her lit lads its gonna be hot, hot hot..re Mournes run - the big challenge is not going to be general fitness at all - but whether or not we can stop our feet falling apart from blisters, twists ankle pains. Just thought you might like to know while you were cycling up the Eiger or wherevver you are now.

You all look very snazzy in your matching green outfits - will try and get it on the front page for you... will speak nicely to Tony (Bagnall).
Annie is just about coping without you Rowan, and Jenna, well she is just about ready to graduate from college.
You have broken the back of the race now - keep it up and we will see you at the other side.
Take care, Ciara
